Saturday 11th September Beer Festival - 19:30 at The Bulls Head, Pratts Bottom; cottage pie or sausage and mash, old time sing along with flag waving and hat wearing for the Last Night of the Proms.

Quiz - 08:45 at the clubroom. Following the
outstanding success of the quiz last year, there will be another run on the
same lines. Just pick up a sheet as you come in, decide whether to have
a go on your own or team up with someone else – or just wander around looking
over everyone's shoulders to snitch their answers! Who cares, there are
no prizes, just the fun of it. Thursday October 7th Holiday
Snaps - 08:45 at the clubroom. With the summer
tours, holidays and short breaks coming to an end, let us all share in
your experiences by bringing along pictures you captured.
Sunday 17th October 25 mile Rough Stuff - start 08:30 and 09:00 at MCG, entry fee £5, closing date Mon 11th Oct. Late or on the line entries £6, organiser Kim Woodward, (01732 780 385 / 07979 298 499) 9 Thorndyke Way, Wrotham, TN15 7BG. Course is 75% off road heading up the Downs dip slope and off the scarp to Wrotham where cold drinks and a snack will be available. The route continues along the Pilgrims Way to Upper Halling then back over the Downs to Holly Hill, Harvel and into Happy Valley to finish at Meopham Green - light refreshments on hand whilst you relax after the event. The event HQ is Meopham Cricket Club Pavilion which is located opposite Meopham Windmill, approximately 2 miles south of Meopham Station on Wrotham Road (A227). Limited off street parking. Entry Form

Sunday 7th November Annual General Meeting - start 14:15 (doors open 14:00) at OVH, this is your opportunity to find out how West Kent CTC has been getting on, question club officers, discuss the issues that wll arise and vote on any motions that are proposed. Don't miss out by not attending. There will be refreshments after the AGM - sandwiches and cakes will be on sale at 30p each.
Thursday 11th November Summer Photographic Exhibition - 08:45 at the clubroom. Peter
Scott will be showing the entries and results of this year’s Summer
Photographic Competition. These will include the special subject “Wood”.
Remember; this is the only chance you have of seeing these pictures, so come
along and see the standard the entrants have achieved.

Mince Pie & Sausage Roll Evening - 08:45 at
the clubroom. Tea and coffee will be available as usual at this ever-popular
evening and you are welcome to bring along anything stronger if you wish.
With the date being so near to Christmas let’s make this event the best ever.

Sunday 9th January Barn Dance - at Pratts Bottom Village Hall, doors open 19:30, the band is Crooked Stove Pipe, bring your own drinks and glasses, there will be a raffle. Contact Lynne Friday (020 8859 7617) for tickets.
Thursday 20th January Recipe Evening - 08:45 at the clubroom. Bring along something you’ve made yourself and, if you want to, share the recipe with the rest of us.
Saturday 29th January Prize Presentation Luncheon - 13:00 for 13:30 at the Darenth Valley Golf Club
Thursday 17th February Bookswap - 08:45 at the clubroom. Having read all the books you were given for Christmas, nows the time to swap them for something new.
